Diagnostics Equity Consortium Factsheet: New Near-Point-of-Care TB Tests

The Diagnostics Equity Consortium released a factsheet explaining the new near-point-of-care nucleic acid amplification tests (NPOC-NAATs) recommended by the World Health Organization for the initial detection of TB. NPOC-NAATs are a new class of portable molecular diagnostics for adults and adolescents, designed for use at primary healthcare centers, peripheral clinics, and community settings, with the potential to help close persistent gaps in TB testing.
