The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union) announcement

Organizations and community members working across TB and lung health are invited to submit a Community Connect Session for the Union World Conference on Lung Health 2026 to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 17-20 November 2026.

Community Connect Sessions play a central role in bringing community perspectives to the heart of the conference programme. They provide a dedicated platform to share lived experiences, present community-led evidence, and elevate voices that are often underrepresented in global health discussions. Sessions offer an opportunity to engage with a global audience through structured presentations, discussions, and knowledge exchange, helping to connect local realities with international policy and practice.

If your organization or network has insights, evidence, or community-driven initiatives relevant to TB and lung health, and can bring together a diverse group of speakers, you are encouraged to submit a session.
