TAG Webinar: What TB Treatment Advocates Need to Know about aDSM/PV – Recording Now Available Online

On 16 April 2026, Treatment Action Group (TAG) held a webinar ‘What TB treatment advocates need to know about active TB Drug Safety Monitoring and Management and Pharmacovigilance (aDSM/PV)’.

In recent years, a new generation of shorter, all-oral, and effective regimens for drug-resistant TB (DR-TB) has been recommended by the World Health Organization. While shorter and safer than previous treatments, newer regimens require close attention to adverse side effects and harmful responses. The webinar introduced the basics of aDSM/PV and explored the important role that advocates and community members can play in promoting quality care with the best available TB treatment regimens.
