TAG Webinar: What TB Treatment Advocates Need to Know about aDSM/PV

6 April 2026

On 16 April 2026, Treatment Action Group (TAG) will host a webinar ‘What TB treatment advocates need to know about active TB Drug Safety Monitoring and Management and Pharmacovigilance (aDSM/PV)’.

The webinar will provide TB advocates, people with TB, and community treatment supporters with the basics of monitoring and management of newer WHO-recommended treatments for drug-resistant TB (DR-TB), including the BPaL/M, BEAT, and endTB regimens. Effective aDSM/PV systems help identify, report, and manage adverse events early thereby contributing to the acceptability and successful scale-up of newer regimens. Join the webinar for an accessible introduction to aDSM/PV and discussion of the role communities can play in this essential TB program activity.

The webinar is supported by the Unitaid-funded ASCENT DR-TB project led by KNCV and is the latest in a series of virtual community conversations about new DR-TB treatment regimens. You can watch past webinars in the series and access community friendly materials on DR-TB regimens on TAG’s website.

Register for the webinar here.
