SURVEY OPEN: Scoping Community Interventions to Support New TB Vaccine Introduction: From Grassroots Partnerships to Global Policymaking

20 March 2025

Treatment Action Group (TAG), with support from Wellcome, is conducting a scoping exercise of community partners and interventions to support new TB vaccine readiness. The project includes a landscape analysis of TB community and civil society working across global, regional, and national levels, country policy portraits illustrating how TB and immunization policy is made in select countries, and an access roadmap that analyzes new TB vaccine access advocacy priorities and activities.

To inform the landscape analysis, TAG is conducting a short survey (available in English, en Español, en Français, и на Русском) on TB vaccines.

Responses to the survey will shape both the landscape analysis and a final report that makes recommendations to funders, vaccine developers, and other global health actors on how community and civil society should be resourced to play an active role in TB vaccine policy-making, demand creation, implementation, access, and vaccine literacy.

Through the survey, TAG hopes to gather insights that can both inform advocacy and policy efforts while also helping to increase resources available to civil society organizations and community groups to engage on new TB vaccines.

Each organization should submit one response. Unaffiliated activists are welcome to respond to the survey as an “Individual.” Participation in this survey is anticipated to take 20-30 minutes of your time.

Your support in completing the survey will be deeply appreciated by 11 April 2025.
