Lung Health Community Unite in Copenhagen to Reaffirm Commitment to End TB and Lung Disease
4 December 2025
The 2025 Union World Conference on Lung Health took place on 18-21 November 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Union World Conference on Lung Health, convened annually by the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union), is the world’s largest gathering of clinicians and public health workers, health program managers, policymakers, researchers and advocates working to end the suffering caused by lung disease, with a focus specifically on the challenges faced by low- and lower-middle income populations.
Despite devastating global funding cuts and geopolitical turmoil, over 3,000 lung health experts from 120 countries participated in the Conference.
