The Union Launches a New Open Access Journal for Chronic Respiratory Disease

The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union) launched IJTLD Chronic Respiratory Disease (IJTLD CRD) – a new open access journal featuring the latest research on chronic lung conditions in low- and middle-income countries.

Each issue will cover a mix of articles, including: post-TB lung disease, asthma, COPD, impact of air pollution, lung damage in smokers, interstitial lung disease, bronchiectasis, long COVID, sleep apnoea, occupational lung disease and interventional pulmonology.

This critically neglected area accounts for an estimated 4 million annual deaths and affects 28-90 million people with post-TB lung disease.
