TB in Indonesia: Challenges and Future Directions

Globally, Indonesia has the second-highest TB burden and the second-largest gap between estimated incidence and reported cases. Achieving the World Health Organization End TB Strategy milestones, and 2027 targets set at the 2023 UN High-Level Meeting remains challenging. A comment, published in The Lancet Respiratory Medicine, discusses the challenges for TB control in Indonesia, and proposes several strategic interventions to address them.
