TB Vaccine Accelerator Council: Progress Update

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that the progress update report for the TB Vaccine Accelerator Council for the period May–October 2024 is now available.

The update offers an overview of ongoing initiatives and future plans to advance the Council’s mission. It is based on insights from the 2024 WHO Global TB Report and outlines activities of the Secretariat, and contributions from Council members. Key highlights from the update include progress in preparations for the 2025 TB Vaccine Financing and Access Summit, insights from national workshops focused on TB vaccines, and the establishment of working groups dedicated to advancing the Council’s core priorities.
